Josiah DeMaris Named Subsection 6 Triple A Award Winner!
Josiah DeMaris is the male Triple A (Academics, Arts, & Athletics) winner for Madelia High School which entered him into the subsection running. He was selected as the male subsection 6 Triple A award winner. The subsection consists of 11 schools; Blue Earth Area, Butterfield-Odin, Fairmont, GHEC, Madelia, MCW, Martin Luther, Mt. Lake, Mt. Lake Christian, St. James and Truman. The last time someone from Madelia won the subsection award was 2002.
Josiah is involved in cross country, basketball, golf, track and field, band, choir, section honor band and student council. He is on the high honor roll and is in the National Honor Society. Josiah volunteers to help for various school events and is greatly involved in his church. Congratulations, Josiah!
