Metals and Welding Classes Attend Tour of Manufacturing

Thirty-six Madelia High School students from the Work Based Learning and Metals and Welding classes participated in the Tour of Manufacturing on Thursday, October 5. Students toured New Ulm Precision Tool and 3M in New Ulm. Students were exposed to hands-on manufacturing processes, technologies and learned more about local career opportunities. This event is coordinated by the regional workforce council and is part of Madelia High School´s plan to expand career and technical education opportunities for students.
