Our goal is to provide valuable information about our schools. Madelia is located on the Watonwan River in south central Minnesota.
Located 100 miles southwest of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro area at the intersections of Minnesota Highway 15 and 60,
Madelia is easily accessible from all parts of the state and midwest region.


The Madelia Public Schools consist of two schools:

Madelia Elementary (Grades VPK-6) and Madelia High School (Grades 7-12).

For lunch today we are having General Tso’s chicken or orange chicken, Asian rice, lettuce salad, veggies and fruit

Here is a joke for our chemistry teachers.  I would tell you a chemistry joke but all of the good ones ARGON.

We are following an activity schedule today we do have a BHT. The schedules are posted at the drinking fountains and the bulletin board in front of the office.

Reminder there is driver's ed classroom Friday after school this week, Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and after school every day next week.  Monday is a make-up day to cover last Saturday's missed class.

You only have until next Wednesday to sign up for after prom. See Terri Holmgren

Multi Culture Club meeting Friday during BHT in the Lunch Room

Get your dancing shoes on cause were gonna have a “Snow Ball” on Friday 8:00 – 11:00 AM.  The sign-up sheet for out of town guests is hung up by Ms. Caldwell’s door.  There will be good food and good music, prizes and a great time.

Golf starts next Tuesday you will have practices on Tuesday's and Wednesday's until we can get outside.  Practices will be at the elementary school.  See you next Tuesday.

Students in grades 7-12 - do you want to learn how to cook? sew? or how to survive on your own? Adulting 101 classes will start today after school. Come to learn and do fun, hands on activities! For more information, see Ms. Ward or Alyssa Sanchez. Sign up in the office.

The Woman of Today will be holding a babysitting clinic on March 23rd at the Elementary School.  This class is aimed at 7th and 8th graders if they have not already taken it.  There are forms in the office.
