Hi!
I am a graduate of Minnesota State University–Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in business education. I have also earned an upgraded business education degree from Winona State University, a work-based learning certificate through Bethel University, and a driver education endorsement through St. Cloud State University.
I’ve been a business education teacher at Madelia High School since 2015; prior to teaching at Madelia, I was a teacher at Truman High School for 25 years. The courses I teach at Madelia are: Personal Finance, Accounting, 7th Grade Keyboarding, Basic Computer Skills, Business Law, and Work-Based Learning.
In addition to my classroom duties, I also direct the school plays and teach driver education outside of school hours.
Madelia High School has provided me with so many opportunities to grow as a teacher and I can’t think of a better place to be at this point in my career. I am a huge advocate of career and technical education and I am always striving to learn more to provide more opportunities for our students.
