I currently serve as the TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) for new teacher mentoring and induction.  In addition, I oversee student teacher placement for the district.

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Primary and Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I also attained a certification to teach English as a Second Language from MSU in 2010. I am a certified Yoga Calm Instructor and teach Yoga Calm for children, as well as an adult yoga class.

I have taught ELL, K- 6th grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade. 4th grade is where my heart is. I love to learn new things and I hope to instill that love of learning in my students.

I have one son who serves in the United States Marine Corps. When I am not teaching, I enjoy anything outdoors, from biking to hiking, kayaking, reading in my hammock, doing yoga and walking my dog.
