Welcome to my classroom! My name is Julia Young. I grew up near Madelia and graduated from New Ulm Public Schools.  I attended Luther College in Decorah, IA where I earned my degree elementary education and Spanish. I specialized in reading and multi-language studies. I earned my masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education in 2018. 

I have two children both attending Madelia Elementary and feel fortunate to be here learning and growing alongside them.

I love teaching early childhood special education as it allows me to experience the best of both preschool and kindergarten.
