I am a proud Madelia native and graduate of Madelia High School. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and later a Master’s Degree in Professional School Counseling from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2013.

I have worked as a School Counselor for the last 11 years, 10 of which have been serving students and families in Madelia, primarily at Madelia High School. I thoroughly enjoy supporting all students to explore their interests and abilities and learn the social and emotional skills needed to be successful, contributing members of society.

I enjoy creative problem solving, advocating for others and collaboration to foster student success.
