Shannon Jacobs is serving Madelia Public Schools as the school nurse. She is a 2000 graduate from Madelia Public Schools. Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from MSU, Mankato – Nursing Program.
Shannon began her nursing career at the Mankato Hospital. After working there for 7 years, she went to work for Watonwan County Public Health Services as a Waiver Case Manager/ Public Health Nurse. When COVID-19 hit in 2020, she started working at Madelia Public Schools.
Family is a very important part of Shannon’s life. She is married and has 2 children; our son is currently attending Madelia High School and our daughter goes to the Madelia Elementary School.
